We’re now in December and that means everyone will be going Christmas crazy.
It’s the time of year where we all give and recieve presents (spend all your money and get shit you dont want back), enjoy the sight of your city or town covered in beautiful snow (spend 6 hours getting to work each day), and meet that special someone (pump the office slag and have to deal with it in January).
I come across a bit like Jeremy Clarkson there, but (like he claims), I don’t really mean it, Christmas is generally good fun.
I thought I’d add to the festive spirit by helping us all get a wee extra stocking filler, and hopefully one that’s really good, in the form of a mixtape.
The idea is that you will make up a mixtape for a random person and recieve one back. I thought it might be nice to add a Christmas card into the equation too, but that is completely down to you.
To get a Christmas present simply:
email favouritesonblog@hotmail.co.uk with your name and address (these details will not be used for marketing purposes or to hide in your garden)
you will then:
recieve a name and address of someone to make a mixtape
recieve a mixtape for Christmas. YAY!
A few rules:
by mixtape i mean a CD
you can put whatever you want on the mixtape – Christmas songs can make as much or little of an appearance as you please
if you find you can no longer send a mixtape then please tell me so no one ends up making a mixtape, but not getting one in return
let’s try and get them sent in time for Christmas day
