This was one of my top ten tracks of 2011 and it now has a shiney new video for everyone to enjoy. This is the promo for I Am by Aerials Up, and you can also now buy tickets for their headline show at King Tut’s on February 11th here.

Battery Face recently made the trip to Edinburgh to play at a Song, By Toad gig, and this footage of them playing Fester and Wednesday has made its way onto the interweb. The band have also been shooting a video recently and if the photos are anything to go by it’s gona be all kinds of crazy good.

Midnight Lion have been busy recording their debut album all over the world it seems, and whilst we wait for its release they’ve got an EP on the way. This is the promo for the title track on Sleeping In The Woods EP which is out February 13th, two days before they headline The Arches .

Open Swimmer release a new EP on January 23rd, but if you head along to King Tut’s for their headline show at Summer Nights on the 17th (tomorrow) you can get a FREE physical copy. Reverieme, Randolph’s Leap, Ajimal and I Build Collapsible Mountains (in the bar) are also on the bill so it would be a mighty fine idea to attend.

The Barents Sea played Perth’s Twa Tams just before Christmas, and got proper wooly jumpered up. Here’s the band playing Born In A Ghost Town, and there’s also another live version on their Facebook wall if you fancy a gander.

The Little Kicks played the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre as part of a star-studded line up – including Twin Atlantic and White Lies – at new year, and a host of footage of the gig has now appeared online. This is the band playing Call Of Youth – check their Youtube page for the other flicks.
