Friends In America are currently working on a debut EP to unleash on the world in the very near future. If you don’t already know why myself, and so many other people, are highly anticipating this release then have a gander at this wonderful video of the band playing Gaffe at Old Mill Studios.

It was shot for Danger Sessions, which is the combined effort of Danger Is Everywhere and Full Fridge Videos.

The debut album from Mummy Short Arms, titled Old Jack’s Windowless Playhouse, is due for release on 21st May through Flowers In The Dustbin. The long player will be preceeded by the single Silicon Dream, which you will be able to purchase as a CD or download on 14th May, and can check out below now.

It’s not too often I post about non-Scottish artists, but I caught Paul Thomas Saunders live – kinda by accident – at a Communion Glasgow gig a while back and was completely blown away. HeĀ  releases the Descartes Highlands EP on 16th April, and the gorgeous A Luna Veterans Guide To Re-entry is taken from it.

You can pre-order the EP now from here, and also get a FREE track in exchange for an email here.

The fantasticly haunting video was filmed and directed by The Blind Club.

It’s been a bit quiet on the Campfires In Winter front of late, and they have been sorely missed, but do not fear as they are back with this video for Mortigi Tempo. It’s a fantastic live recording and you can witness it for yourself on Sunday as the band play Stereo with MakeThisRelate and Vasa. More details here.
