Admiral Fallow release their second album, Tree Bursts In Snow, on 21st May, and if excitement levels havn’t already peaked then wait till you’ve seen the new video featuring that celebrity tree bloke from Lord of the Rings.

You can but The Paper Trench on iTunes, and pre-order the album from the Admiral Fallow Website now.

Video by Greg Davenport.

New Glasgow outfit Crusades are gearing up for the release of the Golden Throats EP (more details soon), and have posted this teaser video for the track Harlequin. You can also pick up Pseudo Andro for FREE on Bandcamp, which I’d recommend doing as it is banging.

The band has some stellar gigs on the horizon, including the Overlook Records Birthday Party (details) and supporting Carnivores and So Many Animal Calls at the Cathouse (details).

The video was shot by Jawn McClenaghan

Dean Owens released his fourth solo album, New York Hummingbird, last month (which I shamefully missed, but am going to sort ASAP), and it is available to purchase from his website now.

Dean plays a solo show at The Rio Cafe (Glasgow) on 25th April, with tickets available for £5 from the venue. He also recently did a session for Song From The Shed, where he played a big favourite of mine, Raining In Glasgow.

Urvanovic describe themselves as “noisy stringy synthy singy pop”, and that’s a great description for probably the best new band I’ve heard all year.

I only heard Bubblewrap for the first time today, but it’s an absolute gem of a pop song, and thankfully their Facebook page is home to some other great numbers. The track, which has a fantastic video (below), will be released as a single in May.

The video is the work of Nexus Digital Media.

Well, what can you say about this video? Part 2 of Vukovi’s promo for Target Practice is simply as good as it comes; with a bit of a nod to The Hunger Games, the band get into a hilarious duel, with some mighty special effects, and if this doesn’t go viral then I’ll start writing nice things about Ed Sheeran.

You can still grab tickets for Vukovi playing at the Arches on 9th May from Big Cartel, and purchase the EP the song Target Practice is taken from on Bandcamp.

Check out Life Up Productions who put this piece of brilliance together.
