Esperi has released the Made For Life/ Snowman split single today through the wonderful Olive Grove Records.

You can purchase the tracks digitally, or if you are really quick (and smart) you’ll grab one of only 50 handmade CD’s, which come in brilliant wee snowmen covers produced by I heart…

Head over to Esperi’s bandcamp and get your hands on the tunes, and check out the great video below.

It’s the second AV night this Friday at The Art School and after the success of the launch I’d expect it to be rammed. This time round the AV residents are joined by special guests Simon Stokes and Colin Mclaren for an audio and visual fare of the highest standard.

GSA students get in for absolutely FREE, and it’s still only £5 for us normal folk, which is a bargain.

Make sure you grab tickets for the after party, which will be available on the night, and will see AV, Animal Farm and John Donaghy playing at a secret location later on.

Here’s a wee clip that the AV fellas produced to tide you by till Friday.

Kilmarnock trio Energy! have changed their name to Fatherson. The decision was made due to folk finding the energizer bunny when googling them, and to basically signal the start of a new chapter for the band, i.e. they’re about to go massive.

Fatherson are currently hitting the road with Idlewild, so make sure you get down early if you were lucky enough to grab tickets for the 100 Broken Windows Tour.

Expect a re-release of the cracking Where The Water Meets The Land EP next year, the promo for which you can see here.
