Communion was started by Ben Lovett (Mumford and Sons), Kevin Jones (Cherbourg) and Ian Grimble in 2006, and the monthly night has since spawned a record label and a barrage of events outside it’s native London. This Thursday sees the first Communion night in Glasgow, and there is a great line up including Kitty The Lion, Washington Irving and Devon musician Ben Howard. The video is of Ben playing a previous Communion show and is absolutely great.
Dananananakroyd release Muscle Memory on 6th June and have posted this great preview in the build up. The track is taken from the band’s second album, also due out in June, and anticipation levels are definitely high round these parts.
Skies Fell are cuurently working on a new EP, and decided to take some time out to record this cover as an Easter gift. This version of Britney Spears track Till The World Ends shows the band on fine form.
Sparrow And The Workshop have released single Snakes In The Grass as a precursor to the May 23rd release of their second album. Gregor from the band put together this brilliant video to accompany it, and you may also notice some other familiar faces throughout. You can buy the single here.
