The first ever MD Cup takes place this weekend, and promises to be a fantastic day of football and live music.
Stirling band Miniature Dinosaurs have put together a 5-a-side tournament and outdoor gig, which will take place on Saturday May 28th at Stirling Albion’s Doubletree Stadium (next to Peak Leisure Centre).
Events will commence at 3pm, where teams consisting of Scottish bands, a journalists select, and a Detour select, will compete in the group stages of the football tournament. This part of the day is FREE to attend and takes place on the synthetic pitches outside the stadium.
Jim Gellatly will be doing the stadium announcing on the day, and also helped out with the draw:
At 5pm events will move inside the stadium where the final will be played, and the live shows will commence.
Tickets are £5 for this part of the day, and can be bought here, or at the turnstiles on the day.
All ages are welcome to attend, and there will be food and drink served, though no alcohol allowed.
