The always great Detour Scotland have put up a host of videos from the recent Insider Festival, and while it was hard to choose just one, I went for Open Swimmer playing Fox. You can find the other videos on the Detour Facebook Page now.
Stanley Odd have a new promo for the track Sun Dance, which is taken from last year’s album called Oddio. The band have also just announced a headline show at Sneaky Pete’s on 24th August as part of the Edge Festival. You can get tickets from the band’s Big Cartel.
The Lafontaines release their debut single Paper Chase on 8th August, and true to form didn’t disappoint in the video stakes. The band are doing a Scottish tour in support of the track, and it’s already looking like they are going to have venues across the country as busy as they had the T Break Stage.
The Mouse That Ate The Cat feature a former member of Drive By Argument and a current member of The Dykeenies, and today marks their first release. You can pick up a copy of Falling Down from Bandcamp and catch the band all over Scotland this month, including this Wednesday at Flat 0/1 in Glasgow for Milk.
This video of Washington Irving playing York last month appeared online and I thought I’d share it. The Track is Dear Liza, and as always catches the band on fine form.
I mentioned Milk earlier and they have been clearly keeping busy with another live video making its way onto the interweb. This is of Yaya Club playing a track called Oh Those Peaches, and it’s rather good.
