Videos of the Week

Posted on January 23, 2012

I’ve decided to change up the video section a bit; instead of hoarding videos for a post at the start of each week (and hanging onto videos for 7 days sometimes) I’m now going to be updating this as and when new videos go live. There will be a new post each week, but expect to start with a few videos and be updated throughout the seven day stretch.

First up is the new video from east-coast outfit People, Places, Maps. It’s the official video for, Plans, which is from the band’s debut album, which you can purchase here.

Skippy Dyes have a rather tasty headline gig coming up in March at the Captain’s Rest, which will be getting recorded for release as a live album. In the meantime here’s some footage of them playing Forgive Me acoustic at The Wee Red Bar.

The Twilight Sad release their third album, No One Can Ever Know, on February 6th, and it is now available to pre-order from FatCat Records. The quite creepy/great video below is for Another Bed which is the second single to be taken the LP, and should should have folk excited about the upcoming LP.

The video was created by Craig Murray.

Here’s the new video from Loki, which sees the Glasgow rapper go all circus/the joker for the track Loki’s The Name. You can catch Loki live tonight at the LAID Burns Night @ Bar Bloc with Trapped In Kansas and Poor Things.
