Everyone loved Art Attack when they were wee right? Well, then you should love the promo for Plum‘s track The Seed, which incorporates stop-motion animation and over 70 metres of cardboard!

It’s the title track from the debut album from Plum – or as the bank calls her, Shona Maguire – which is due out on 7th April, and if you’re lucky enough to be in Edinburgh on Saturday you can attend the launch at Electric Circus.

The video was produced by Greg Hoyna.

Make Sparks released the Part of the Masquerade EP last month, and are already gearing up for the next single. Rewind was the track that introduced me to the band, and its re-release will no doubt bring the mass attention the song and band deserve.

Make Sparks are on tour now, and you can check the dates here.

It also has a hilarious video, which is the work of Shootback Productions.

This Silent Forest are also gearing up for a single release, with Milk being out on 9th April. The track will be available on Bandcamp, but you can also check out the promo below that has just been released.

The band have also announced a support slot for We Were Promised Jetpacks (details to follow), and if you want to know whay they’re like live then check out this recent live review.

The Last Battle have released their very first music video, with this promo by Matty Ross for Floored. The track is taken from last year’s Springwell EP, but new material is on the way, with Hope Is Gold set to be released in June as an album precursor.

The band are having a shindig at Pilrig St Paul’s to launch the single, and you can get more details here.

Here’s some great footage of The Birthday Suit playing Hope Me Home at a recent gig in Manchester. Rod Jones and co. were filmed by Play Nice TV, and the whole gig is due to be released as a DVD at some point.

Rod has also announced a series of solo acoustic gigs, including a free show at Bloc on 8th May. Check the official website for more details.

Vukovi have released the first part of the promo for Target Practice, and it is quite brilliant. The track is taken from their latest EP, which was reviewed here recently, and should see anticipation levels rocket for the headline show at The Arches on 9th May.

The band have put a few ticket bundles on Big Cartel, and you’ll want to grab these soon as it will no doubt sell out.

The video is the fantastic work of Life Up Productions.
