Favourite Son is a blog concentrating on music from Scotland and a bit further afield.

The site features gig listings, live reviews, record reviews, interviews, videos, and various features.

If you would like to be featured then please get in touch and let me know how I can hear your music, where I can see you play, or if you have an upcoming event or release.

I’d recommend getting in touch – initially at least – via email, as this will help make sure I see your contact and that I’ll be able to reply.

Submissions of music in the form of Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Dropbox and Mediafire are greatly appreciated. I will try and use whatever means you send it by, but it is not always possible.

If you would like to have an event added to gig listings then links to band sites and Facebook Events are very handy.

Any recordings posted on the site are either done so with the express written permission of the artist, are streaming on the internet, or are from free downloads. If any if this is in dispute then please simply contact me rather than being a dick and having the site pulled down.
